Strangers Suggest: Ocean Holder

For Part V of the ‘Strangers Suggest’ series, SOON photographed Ocean Holder, a Moving Image student currently studying her A Levels in London.

Who are you? Ocean Holder.

What do you do? Make films and try to be funny.

Suggestions of Films to watch when you’re feeling:

HAPPY: The Royal Tenenbaums- Wes Anderson.
SAD: Fish Tank directed by Andrea Arnold (only going to make you feel sadder but what have you got to lose at this point?)
ANGRY: Kickass directed by Matthew Vaughn
ENERGETIC: Human Traffic directed by Justin Kerrigan -this film would get anyone hyped for a night out.
NOSTALGIC: Bugsy Malone directed by Alan Parker. I always wanted to be Tallulah, she so sassy!
TIRED: Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging directed by Gurinder Chadha. It’s an easy watch as I probably know the whole script back to front.
DRUNK: Superbad directed by Greg Mottola (funniest film of all time, even funnier when intoxicated).
IN LOVE: Submarine directed by Richard Ayoade. Favourite film of all time.
INSPIRED: The Great Gatsby- Directed by Baz Luhrmann.
CALM: City of God- Fernando Meirelles and Katia Lund. (Moving film, so being calm would always be useful to watch).
